Post 11 - Targets

1 – Group Skills – I need to improve my skills and be involved a bit more.

2 - I need to improve my editing skills using Adobe Premier Pro so I will not need help next time I am editing.

3 - I need to improve my blogging by adding more detailed post and improving my grammar. I will achieve this by checking my work over and over again until I know I have it the best I can get it.

4 - Independence: I will achieve this by listening the first time to what has been said so I will not have to ask for help in the lesson.

5 - Camera Work: The only way this will be possible is by practicing.

Post 10 - Evaluation of Skills Developed

During this assignment I have learnt how to capture footage to a good standard, and I am able to realise if I have gone over the 180 degree line. Also I have learned how to use the editing suite to a good standard, I have learnt how to cut, add keyframes and edit the audio, all of these skills helped me when creating the short film.

When evaluating the film I have learnt how to asses a scene properly, if the scene had for example bad lighting I would have been able to notice and and go back and reshoot the scene. This was essential as we had a limited time to film.

Technical Skills:
I have learnt how to position the camera in the right angle to get the best shot and whether it would need a reshoot.

Creative Skills:
I have developed creative skills like ideas for the script and whether we should reposition the camera for a more effective shot, these proved very useful as we had to reshoot our film.

Personal Skills:
These skills were essential we worked as a group and had to help each other with acting and deciding on whether a clip was good enough, we had to decide this as a group and communicate so personal skills were very important.
